ManGlaze Matte Is Murder, Fuggen Ugly, & Lesbi-Honest

First, I just have to say how refreshing it is to buy from a company with a sense of humor. All too often, companies are so scared of losing that perfect image that they forget to have fun, and ManGlaze definitely knows how to have fun. This Chicago based company has a line of "the Worst Super Fuckingly High Gloss Nail Polish ever" out there. This is some of the coolest polish I have come upon yet! (next to holographic, sorry) The stunning artwork that adorn the bottles of ManGlaze are by Jason Atomic, Joe Simko, Jason Goad, and Mike Saputo. Needless to say these guys nailed the designs. (I really didn't mean for there to be a "nail" joke, sorry)  This stuff dries amazingly fast with full coverage at two coats. Yes, I even got a compliment from the hubby. Now if that isn't saying something I don't know what will. I have for you today the black Matte is Murder, charcoal grey Fuggen Ugly, and the fuchsia Lesbi-Honest. That is, until I spend more money on these awesome little devils and become even more broke. I will shut up now and show these beauties!

*Holographic Dusty Haul*

My first dusty hunt was quite successful for a newbie, in my opinion. I got a few new bottles (they still look like they went through the ringer), but mostly partially used. I had such an adrenaline rush doing this. It made me feel better that the owners of these salons didn't look at me like I was crazy. I just knew I was going to ask about buying polish, and they would look at me like I had three heads. Luckily most people were very accommodating, I only got two dirty looks. Unfortunately,at one place, I ran into a news crew interviewing the staff and customers because a patron was arrested for leaving her 3 children in the car (ages 4, 2 and 9 months), with a loaded hand gun, and marijuana, while she got her nails done. No, I am not kidding. I still can't get over that one. It gets worse, but I don't have the heart to repeat the rest. Luckily the children were okay and the mom was arrested and charged. So, I don't plan on dusty hunting in that area again! So, do any of you have any helpful dusty hunting tips? Preferably ones that won't end up like my last one. Please share. Well enough chatting, on with the treasure. :)

Valentines Day Mani: Milani Digital

So this post will be brief since I am heading into work. Yes, I know its Valentines day, but unfortunately the hospital never closes. :(  So on to the manicure. I used Milani Digital from the 3D collection. It is a soft rose pink with holographic metallic flakes in it. It is a scattered holo and is not very noticeable under the stamping, but it does give it some nice shimmer and depth. I used Konad white for stamping. Now this is my first official stamping manicure and I think I did pretty well for a newbie. I used Konad plate m57 for the zebra print and Salon Express plate # SE-20 for the hearts and XOXO. This was all topped off with  my lovely Seche Vite Dry Fast top coat. So what do you think about my first real attempt (since middle school) at nail art? Please be gentle. Once again sorry for the post being brief.
